Terms and conditions

Last updated 17 October 2026

These are the terms for BlockNGoal, a free app of four games — BlockNGoal, Two Dots, Square and Path — published by Gaurav. Playing it means agreeing to them. They are short, because the game asks little of you and promises little in return.

What you get

BlockNGoal is free to play, for as long as you like, on as many of your own devices as you like. You may not sell it, charge others for it, or pass off a modified copy as the original.

The game is paid for by ads. You may not use anything that blocks, hides or falsifies them while playing.

Your account

You do not need one to play. If online ranking is on, the game makes an anonymous account for that installation and keeps the key to it on the device — no email, no password, nothing asked of you.

That has a consequence worth knowing before you climb a ladder: lose the device, uninstall the app or clear its storage, and a guest rank goes with it. Nothing proves it was yours, so we cannot restore it.

Signing up — an email address and a password, from the game's profile screen — is what fixes that. It attaches them to the account you already have, so your rank carries over and you can sign in to it on another phone. Two things follow from it:

  • The password is yours to keep safe. Anything done by somebody signed in as you counts as done by you.
  • There is no password reset, because we send no email. If you lose the password the account cannot be recovered — we can delete it on request, and you can start again.

One account per email address. Ranking is for fun rather than for keeps, and nothing about it is a possession we guarantee.

Your name

The name you pick is shown to the players you meet and on the leaderboard, and nobody else can have it while it is yours. Pick one that is not offensive and does not pretend to be somebody else. We may change a name that is either, without warning; your account and rank are not affected.

Fair play

The server plays every submitted game, solved level and match again, with the game's own rules, before it awards anything. One that does not play out the same way again earns nothing and is recorded as refused. A Two Dots solve so large that it would take the server too long to play again — dozens of lines piled up at once — still counts on your phone, but earns no XP.

We may, without warning:

  • refuse games, levels and matches that do not replay;
  • correct or remove XP, levels, ratings and games that were not honestly earned;
  • stop an account from recording games, if games from it are plainly made up.
  • count a BlockNGoal game against another player as lost by whoever leaves it, stays out of contact for more than 30 seconds, or lets a turn's 45 seconds run out;
  • carry on a Square match without a player who leaves it or loses their connection: their disc stays, and plans nothing until they are back.

An account stopped this way keeps its rank and can still play; it simply stops counting. If you think that was a mistake, write to blockngoal@gmail.com with the player number from the Rank screen.

Reverse engineering the game to submit games you did not play, or attacking the server, ends any permission you have to use it.

Ads

Ads are supplied by Google AdMob and chosen by them. We do not write them, check them, or endorse what they advertise. Anything you buy from an advertiser is between you and that advertiser.

What we do not promise

The game is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always work, will suit any particular purpose, or will be free of bugs. The online ranking may be slow, unavailable, or discontinued, and the game is built to be fully playable without it.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from using the game — including a lost rank or a lost saved game. Nothing here removes rights your local consumer law gives you, which apply whatever this page says.

Changes, and stopping

We may change the game, these terms, or how ranking works. The date at the top says when this page last changed, and carrying on playing after that is how you accept it. You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app, and delete your online record from the game's Settings screen or by writing to us.

Privacy

What the game stores and sends is set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
